Gomez Proves he is the best

(JUNE 1) Joe "Iron Man" Gomez defeated slick Abel Perry, 9-2 (3
KOs) over 8 rounds, on Saturday night at the Sky Ute Casino.
Gomez is now, 15-1-1 (5 KOs). Gomez who has been ducked by
other so-called top Welterweights has been challenged by Elco
Garcia. Will the two four corners favorites do battle. Not
likely states Lenny Fresquez, Gomez's promoter.
Elco is a full fledged Middleweight at the lightest. Joe is a
welterweight thinking of moving up to 154 lbs.
"Right now we have other plans for Joe. He is the top male
fighter in New Mexico---and will be fighting for a Title in the
near future," stated Fresquez.
Joe really would like the winner of the Zamora vs. Sanchez fight
if it takes place---But it is unlikely Sanchez will fight him.
Also, realistically Zamora and Gomez are the top guys' in
New Mexico and until they have a showdown we will not know who
is the best in New Mexico.
